The name of the actor who will play the next character known from the animated “Star Wars” has been revealed. It is about one of the main characters of “Rebels”.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Eman Esfandi will play the role of Ezra Bridger in the upcoming series about the adventures of Ahsoka Tano. It will be the first time we will see this hero in an acting version. Esfandi’s official presentation and perhaps a first look at his character will likely be given at Disney’s D23 event this weekend.
Ezra is one of the two confirmed Rebel characters that will join Rosario Dwason’s Ahsoka. The second will be a Mandalorian, Sabine Wren. We don’t know who will play it yet, but that may change during the aforementioned D23. Another character who may make his debut in Star Wars: Ahsoka is Grand Admiral Thrawn. In the second season of Star Wars: The Mandalorian , Ahsoka was looking for an Imperial officer and this thread will probably continue.
The last time we saw Ezra, Sabine and Thrawn on the screens was the final episode of the Star Wars Rebels animation . The young Jedi carried out his plan to defeat the Grand Admiral, but the final fate of both characters remained unknown. After the fall of the Galactic Empire, Ahsoka and Sabine set out to find their friend.
Star Wars: Ahsoka is set to debut on Disney + next year.
