The shooting for Season 3 of The Witcher is about to begin soon , which means we should hear about new characters and castings soon. Redandian Intelligence has reportedly already obtained some audition tapes revealing who will be hunting Ciri!
A new report has revealed a villain who is set to appear in the third season of The Witcherfrom Netflix. All indications are that it will be Ralf Blunden, better known as the Professor. It is not known yet how important the character will be in the new season, but fans of books and games will not need an introduction to the villain. This mercenary thug is known to do almost anything for money. The nickname “The Professor” has been given to Blunden not only because of the glasses he wears, but also because he is known to speak fancifully, so much so that his words sometimes make no sense. A villain known from the books will probably be hired to hunt Ciri and Yennefer. Unfortunately for him, this also leads to a meeting with Geralt. Such a scenario would be consistent with what we could read in the stories by Andrzej Sapkowski.
While the report provides compelling evidence and is largely a reliable source when it comes to Netflix, that doesn’t change the fact that nothing has been confirmed yet. The third season of The Witcher is currently in pre-production , and shooting is set to begin soon. At the time of publication, it is not known when new episodes will be released.
