The series will premiere on Friday, August 6, on the Disney Channel and Disney Junior. The production will tell about the fate of well-known characters – Spider-Man, Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy, as well as their supporters, Black Panther, Hulk and Ms. Marvel. They will have to join forces to defeat their greatest enemies, Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus and Rhino. Thanks to this, they will find out that sometimes only teamwork is a way to save themselves.
The latest installment of Spider-Man’s adventures is a series produced by Disney Junior and Marvel Entertainment in association with Atomic Productions. It is directed by Chris Moreno and Chris Gilligan, supervising producer Steve Grover and executive producer Harrison Wilcox.
We also know some of the voice cast of Spidey and his Amazing Friends . Peter Parker will be played by Benjamin Valic ( Sonic. Lightning Fast ), Lily Sanfelippo ( The Chicken Squad ) as Gwen Stacy and Jakari Fraser ( Ben’s Return ) as Miles Morales.
Interestingly, Patrick Stump, a member of the Fall Out Boy band, will be responsible for the soundtrack of the production and the theme itself. The musician, as he said himself, is delighted to be able to work on a Marvel project:
I’ve been a huge fan of Marvel for years. But I figured, well, this would probably be the first time so many kids of this generation would see the Spider-Man iteration. So what does this mean? There is so much history behind it.
Spidey and his Amazing Friends will be Marvel’s first full-length series for the youngest viewers. And whether it will be successful, we will find out on August 6 this year.
