We know the release date of the new season of “Castlevania”

Fans of Trevor Belmont, Sypha and Alucard breathed a sigh of relief. The long-awaited sequel to the popular Netflix animation has finally got its official release date. A preview of the fourth season of the series has hit the network.

The plot of Castlevania’s first two seasons was based on the struggle of vampire slayers with Dracula and his henchmen. In the third series, the heroes try to find themselves in a new reality, changed after the fall of the vampire lord. Alucard lives in his father’s castle, guarding the Belmonts’ heritage and looking for an idea for life. Trevor and Sypha end up in one of the towns that hides a dark secret. In the next set, the vampire Carmilla, her sisters and the imprisoned by them Hektor implement a plan to enslave humanity. And Isaac, wishing to avenge his master – Dracula, creates his own army.

The fourth series was announced on Twitter. In addition to the release date, we received information that this is also the last part of the adventures of Belmont and the company.

Due to the need to efficiently close the threads, the number of new characters introduced to the series may be limited. We will probably focus on the confrontation of the three main characters with two enemy factions – the army of vampires and the army of Isaac.

Although the announced season will be the finale of the adventures of famous heroes, remembering the previous episodes, do not be sad. Considering the possibilities of the creators of the series, we can certainly expect another portion of a solid story and a visual feast. The words of the series’ director, Samuel Deets, also seem comforting:

While Castlevania , which was based on the classic video game Konami [Japanese publisher and game producer – ed. ed.] is coming to an end, the world she created will continue. I’ve heard Netflix thinks of a new series set in the Castlevania universe with a whole new cast and characters.

The voices of the characters in the series include: Richard Armitage (Trevor Belmont), James Callis (Alucard), Alejandra Reynoso (Sypha Belnades), Theo James (Hector), Jessica Brown Findlay, Bill Nighy (Saint Germain), Jason Isaacs ( Judge).

Castlevania’s final season will hit Netflix on May 13.
