For the first time since 2007, players will be able to dive back into the world of Half-Life. We only have to wait a few more weeks, as Valve has announced the exact release date.
Half-Life: Alyx will debut on Steam on March 23. Valve announced the news via Twitter. There are two entries on their account – one with graphics with the release date, and the other with screenshots from the game. You can see both of them below.
While waiting for the premiere of Alyx, players can refresh the previous parts of the series for free. Until their premiere on Steam, the Half-Life games will be available as free-to-play.
The action of the latest installment in the series is to take place between the first and the second parts. Players will take on the role of Alyx Vance, who got involved in a conflict with a sinister alien known as the Combine. Before our heroine there is a fight for the survival of humanity.
