Disney finally unveiled the cards for the cast of the Jedi Master series. Nine more actors and actresses will join Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen and Indira Varma. Among them will be debutants in the world of “Star Wars” as well as returning faces.
In Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi will see the return of Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse as Owen and Beru Larsów. The last time we saw them in these roles was Revenge of the Sith . This way, the series will feature a total of four people from the prequel trilogy.
The distant galaxy will be visited for the first time by Moses Ingram, Kumail Nanjiani, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie. It is not known who they would play. There are both completely new characters and younger versions of those already known.
Not much is known about the plot yet. The action is set to take place 10 years after the events of Revenge of the Sith . The series is to be directed by Deborah Chow and Joby Harold is responsible for the script. Production is scheduled to start next month. The release date remains unknown.
