A new hero and a new world – that’s what James Gunn’s next film is supposed to be. Changes await the DC Universe and they will start in 2025 with the premiere of the Superman movie!
The new movie about the classic superhero is to be seen in July 2025. It will be titled Superman: Legacy, and its plot remains a mystery, the veil of which, however, was lifted by director and writer James Gunn. It is supposed to be a story told in a world where superheroes are nothing extraordinary and associate in the organization “Authority”.
The production of the film will start in early 2024, when the casting is completed. We already know that the role of Clark Kent will be played by David Corenswet, whom we can associate with the Hollywood series . The role of Lois Lane, a journalist working with Superman, will be played by Rachel Brosnahan, the star of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel . We don’t yet know who will play Superman’s villain Lex Luthor.
Two more films are to be added to the DC universe – The Authority , probably about a mysterious organization of superheroes, and Batman – The Brave and the Bold, in which there is a chance that we will see Batman. It remains to be hoped that David Corenswet will create a Superman like we’ve never seen before.
