During San Diego Comic-Con 2023, a story trailer was released for the sequel to the 2018 Spider-Man game and the 2020 spin-off.
With the first part of 2018, Insomniac Games – inspired by the original Spider-Man comics – created a completely new storyline for fans of the character and players unfamiliar with the source material. It seems that the creators of this series are still not afraid to play with the comic canon, as exemplified by the introduction of Harry Osborn and Venom in a less standard way.
In the new game, we will play the role of two Spider-Man, both Peter Parker and Miles Morales, for a change. Together, they will have to face Kraven and his group of heavily armed hunters. Meanwhile, Peter comes into possession of a black suit with unusual properties.
During the San Diego Comic-Con, a limited edition of the Playstation 5 console with a DualSense controller was additionally presented.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will officially go on sale on October 20, but only on Playstation 5.
