We have known for some time that Laurie Holden will play in the third season of the well-received series The Boys . It is an actress known from such productions as The Walking Dead or Silent Hill . She will join the series with Jensen Ackles, who will play the role of Soldier Boy. The character is a parody of Captain America from the Marvel universe.
Laurie Holden will play Crimson Countess, inspired by the Scarlett Witch. Two of the aforementioned characters appeared in the Payback comic , where jokes about the Avengers appeared at every turn.
The actress praised her character’s outfit design on Twitter. It must be admitted that the series does not intend to deviate far from comics. The clothes really look like Scarlett Witch.
The Boys’ first two seasons can be viewed on Amazon Prime. As of today, unfortunately, we cannot confirm when the third part of the story will be released. I only speculate on the internet about 2022 and it makes a lot of sense. Season two left fans unsatisfied, however the cast of the third season suggests a big comeback for the series.
