Much has been written about the Smurfs. The fairy-tale race of blue creatures has been functioning in culture since 1963. "The Smurfs and the Book of Answers" is the twenty-seventh volume in the series. The originator of the Smurfs was Pierre Culliford (1928-1992), after his death, work on comic books is continued by scriptwriters and cartoonists cooperating with the son of the Belgian artist, Thierry Culliford. Volume 27 - Smurfs at the summer resort - filled in with the text of the cartoonist's descendant and Alain Jost, while the author of the drawings is Pascal Garray.
Everyone needs rest
Each Smurf in the village has a job to do. The most urgent needs of residents are met on a regular basis, because everyone knows the scope of their duties well. When Papa is away, the Smurfs play
Conflict situations in the Smurf village arise regularly. This time, however, Papa Smurf has to solve Pracusia’s problem before his frustration turns into permanent anger. One of the Smurfs’ trip to the mountains makes other villagers jealous. Being out in the wild is a tempting idea, and most blue men quickly begin to crave change. Papa Smurf has to control the chaos and answer tough questions – who is supposed to bake bread when the Smurf Baker is on vacation? Where to get the flour when the Smurf Miller is resting? Does only Farmer Smurf tell the difference between cucumbers and zucchini? Additionally, Gargamel appears on the horizon, having just developed a new spell that allows Klakier to sense his way to the Smurf village.
