The first non-animated Barbie movie will premiere on July 21st, 2023. Produced by Warner Bros. and starring Margot Robbie.
Margot Robbie will play the role of the most popular doll in the world. The cast also includes America Ferrera ( Supermarket ), Kate McKinnon ( Saturday Night Live ), Simu Liu ( Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings ), Alexandra Shipp ( tick, tick, … Boom! ), Willa Ferrell ( Anchorman ), Issa Rae ( Uncertain ), Michaela Cera ( Superbug ) and Ariana Greenblatt ( Avengers: Infinity War ). The director is Greta Gerwig, who also worked on the script with Noah Baumbach.
