The sixth edition of the Warsaw Fantasy Fair will take place this weekend at the Bracia Jabłkowscy Department Store.
The fair is, as usual, a great opportunity to meet enthusiasts, meet famous guests related to Polish fantasy or supplement your collections with new specimens. When visiting the Fair, you will also be able to see the premiere of the film Half a Century of Poetry Later , a story set in the world of The Witcher, which was written for four years. In addition, there will be meetings with authors, book premieres and a concert. The full list of events and guests with the schedule can be found below.
Attractions:
Level 0 – Fantastic Graphics Exhibition
This time our exhibition wall will feature works by Andrzej Łaski. An artist responsible, inter alia, for presenting the figure of the first truly Polish superhero, an amateur exorcist, a master of moonshine and a man by vocation – Jakub Wędrowycz.
Level 2 – Fortune-Telling Corner.
We have planned this edition of the Fair at a time when fortune-telling and magic are of special importance. If you are curious about what awaits you in the near, or slightly longer, future, we invite you to meet our Witches or consult the Druid rune master.
Level 2 – Dorigami
Dorigami Zone is an artistic initiative established in 2012 on the basis of a fascination with Japanese art – origami. They know almost everything about creating with paper and they will gladly share their knowledge! During the workshop you will have the opportunity to learn the basics of the world of paper. Together, you will assemble a variety of models, and you will also have the opportunity to admire complex figurines that sometimes took many hours to create. You will also have the opportunity to listen to amazing stories related to this art form.
Level 2 – Relaxation
Zone The Relaxation Zone is a place where you can sit alone or with friends on comfortable pouffes, see what you have already managed to get at the Fair and consider what to do next.

At last, after 4 years of adventure full of ups and downs, the film Half Age of Poetry Later will have its premiere at the Fair! To paraphrase Master Dandelion – the world is changing, the sun is going down, and … the movie is ending. Come in crowds for the show! In addition to the projection itself, we plan a chat with some of the crew and cast. So you will be able to ask hot questions and share your impressions.

5:00 PM – Scena Pod Witrażami – Łysa Góra Acoustically
Łysa Góra Akustyczne is another edition of the heavy-folk music formation from Piaseczno. The search for sources and truth in songs and songs as well as the fascination with folk music made the band turn its attention to traditional acoustic concerting. Compositions, melodies, rhythmics, traditional – white singing, embellished with equally traditional instruments, in which we can find: a rope drum, Płock fiddle, Biłgoraj bitch, violin, saz, bass shovel, sopilka, didgeridoo, harpoon and other small folk instruments, makes the new project of Łysa Góra introduces the listener to the extraordinary atmosphere and atmosphere of old times. The group’s repertoire includes Polish, Ukrainian, Cossack and Belarusian songs, a whole range of Balkan influences and original compositions.
