Warner Bros. hired Adam Sztykiel, who was working on the upcoming movie Black Adam , to write and direct a new production for HBO Max based on the DC characters, Wonder Twins.
Wonder Twins are siblings named Zan and Jayna. TV viewers are known primarily for their presentation in The New Super Friends Hour, created by Hanna-Barbera studio. In the animated series, they were companions of such superheroes as Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. The duo then appeared in the Super Friends comic and over time was incorporated into the larger DC universe.
The twins were known to transform Jayna into any animal, while Zan turned into … water in various states of concentration. The characters have become the subject of jokes, and in modern times also the heroes of numerous memes. DC tried to somehow improve their image and to this end the duo appeared in various productions including Teen Titans Go! , Smallville or The Flash . Now the heroes are to appear in their own acting film. Adam Sztykiel, who has already worked with Warner Bros., will be responsible for the direction and script. at Project X , Millers or Rampage. The latter also worked with Dwayn Johnson on Black Adam, a title announced on July 29.
