But do you remember when they took place? Let’s find out. I have always felt a hint of sympathy for history, but it was only thanks to Timeline Polska that I realized that many dates were mixed up in my head. It was a good kick for gray cells.
What’s inside?
We get a small, well-made metal box at an affordable price. Which is a big plus, because over time the regiments run out of space, and you can fit this wonder everywhere. The only element of the game are cards, which are 110 in total, and we can consider their execution as decent. The illustrations also encourage gameplay. In addition, the manual is only seven pages in a really small format and you only need to browse through it to start the first batch. The game is fun for two to eight people and is very dynamic.

Each player is dealt six cards. We put one in the middle with the date of the event uncovered. We must correctly arrange the chronology of the revealed card from among ours, and the first person to get rid of all of them wins.
Timeline Polska can be described as a light game introducing you to the world of board games. It is suitable not only for those who like history, but also for the whole family. The game can be used to refresh dusty knowledge, it provides a whole lot of interesting facts. What’s more, Timeline is a series of educational games, so we can confidently combine different editions. This provides us with even more opportunities, knowledge and, most importantly, fun.
The gameplay itself lasts fifteen minutes, so it can be a quick break between heavier titles. In my opinion, the only downside of the game is quite low replayability. If we do not combine it with other variants, we will quickly memorize the cards. In this situation, the game will no longer be difficult and will not be a challenge for us.
Is it worth it?
To sum up, the game will appeal to families with children or people who have not dealt with the world of games without electricity so far. People who like history will also find something for themselves here. However, it’s best to stock up on the entire series so that the game doesn’t lose its charm.
