Less than two months are left until the release of WandaVision and its official entry into the fourth phase of the MCU. Despite the relatively recent date, we still do not know much about the plot of the new Marvel Studios series, and the mixed film styles on promotional materials make us not only curious, but also slightly lost. It seems that after such an ambitious production one has to just expect… well, the unexpected.
Some time ago, in an interview with Empire Magazine, Kevin Feige said that the films so far showed only a small part of what Wanda can do. He also emphasized how dramatic and traumatic the story of this heroine is, which directly affects her powers. After all, we saw what a threat she was to Thanos in Avengers: Endgame (2019), when she got carried away in the final battle over her grief over the loss of a loved one. Wanda’s Powers are to be one of the most important plots of the fourth phase, as they will be explored in both WandaVision and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness .
Meanwhile, also thanks to Empire Magazine , we can look at the next promotional photos, announcing the series.
We know that the series will combine the inspirations of the most famous comedies, superhero films and old and modern cinema. On the screen we will see names such as Elizabeth Olsen (Wanda), Paul Bettany (Vision), Kat Dennings (Darcy), Kathryn Hahn (Agnes), Teyonah Parris (Monica Rambeau), Randall Park (Jimmy Woo) and Evan Peters. WandaVision will appear on Disney + on January 15, 2021.
