julka rodekThe premiere of the fourth phase of the MCU is fast approaching. Traditionally, it will introduce a series of new superheroes, enriching the universe even more. Marvel comics are characterized by a really impressive number of characters, only some of which we know from the film version of the world. In just a few weeks, the WandaVision series will present us with a completely new side of the heroine, not entirely unknown, but still remaining on the sidelines of the story.
We know Monica Rambeau from Captain Marvel (2019), still a little girl, helping Carol Danvers choose the colors of her new costume. In comics, her role has always been much greater and Marvel Studios decided to use this thread, weaving her story into the title opening the fourth phase. Also known as (among others) Spectrum, Monica is an incredibly powerful heroine, a member of the Avengers group.
The latest line of hangers from Monogram Products presents the costume line in which we will see the characters of the series.
We already know most of the images from plan photos or promotional materials. In addition to the fact that the musical number (or the entire episode) has been confirmed, we can also see Monika’s costume. It harmonizes with what fans know from comics.
A while ago, the actress who plays Monica, Teyonah Parris, said that this role was like a dream come true for her.
It was a childhood dream. To be a Marvel superhero. I even remember how I always said it – “I want to be a superhero.” When the first MCU movie came out, I think I was in college. I went to watch Iron Man right away, then I watched the rest of the movies, all these strong women kicking the ass of villains, and kept saying, “This is what I want to do.”
Regarding the show itself, Parris adds that this is something completely new, downright crazy, and that she is sure fans will be very excited.
The screen will also feature actors such as Elizabeth Olsen (Wanda), Paul Bettany (Vision), Kat Dennings (Darcy), Kathryn Hahn (Agnes), Randall Park (Jimmy Woo) and Evan Peters. WandaVision will appear on the Disney + platform on January 15, 2021.
