Independent game developer Kool2Play is pleased to announce that their futuristic top-down shooter Uragun is making its debut as Early Access on Steam later today. Players can already get acquainted with the deadly, but also extremely friendly Mech. It is looking for its pilot in a world dominated by hostile machines.
After a complete gameplay rebuild in 2021 to join Game Director Fran Avilés (responsible for the success of Deep Rock Galactic), Kool2Play can finally present its action-packed futuristic top-down shooter game.
In Uragun, you will play as a Mech who has awakened to discover that the world has been overrun by a rebellious AI. The search for your missing pilot and friend will lead you to various unique places, such as hot Barcelona, futuristic Hong Kong or the snow-covered mountain trails of North America. In order to survive, you will have to fight numerous challenging and dynamic fights. Develop your skills and new weapons, from shotguns and automatic rifles to plasma boomerangs and rocket launchers, which will increase your chances against opponents.
In the Early Access version of the game, users can expect, among others: 25 missions taking place in 3 different locations, over 10 types of enemies, a boss fight and 3 mini-bosses, which we will be able to defeat with 5 different weapons (each with additional modifications) and 4 special attacks. The game can be purchased via Steam for PLN 59.99 and on the occasion of the premiere, the developers have also prepared a new trailer. At the start, the game will be available in Polish, English and Spanish language versions, with new locations gradually added during development in the Early Access version. It will not be the only thing that will come to the game during this stage, and those who decide to buy the game now will not pay more for the next, added until the release of the full version.
Early Access is just the beginning, we see Uraguna as a longseller, a title that will win a new group of players with each subsequent update – says Marcin Marzęcki, president of Kool2Play . Our team already has many ideas for further extensions of the production content. The Steam community will decide which of them will be implemented. After the game is released and feedback collected, we will publish a detailed roadmap that will show the plan for further improvements and new content for players.
That is why the developers of the game invite everyone to join the official Uragun server on Discord , where you can meet community members, chat with the developers and share your opinions about the game. Each comment is taken into account in the further development of Uraguna, so everyone can contribute to the final shape of the game.
What’s more, Uragun will also be available for review directly by the international gaming community at PAX East in Boston on April 21-25, where journalists will be able to chat with Kool2Play team members about the game, ask questions and provide feedback right away.
