The Netflix series: Sandman, Lucifer and Locke & Key are based on comic books that all originate from the same universe.
Sandman, Lucifer and Locke & Key are all based on the beloved comics and have serial versions that make the productions even more famous. We are still waiting for the Sandman premiere on Netflix; the other two series are available on this platform. The mentioned series in comics overlap and often create crossovers.
The first comic book source was Sandman co-created by Neil Gaiman. Even though it gets screened last, it really all started here. Dream, accidentally captured by Roderick Burgess, searches for items he lost in captivity. This leads him to Hell and the encounter of Lucifer, a being more powerful than Dream.
The Lock family met Dream while he was still in Roderick Burgess’s basement. Mary Locke gets a clue that leads her indirectly to Hell. Even during the reign of Lucifer (before he leaves hell and adventures on earth), he frees his brother’s soul from hell and delivers it to heaven.
Below is a first look at Sandman . The specific release date is not yet known.
