Genndy Tartakovsky is rightly a legend in the world of animation. His work on popular series such as Dexter’s Laboratory , Samurai Jack , and Primal helped him build a name on Cartoon Network. It’s no surprise that the network is once again partnering with the creator, as a new trailer for his upcoming project, Unicorn: Warriors Eternal , has been released, which is set to air on Adult Swim. The trailer makes it clear that Tartakovsky will use his strengths as an animator to showcase his unique art style in this epic, time-stretched story.
Unicorn: Warriors Eternal is scheduled to premiere on May 4 on Adult Swim, giving the show an opportunity to delve into darker climates, much like the fourth season of Samurai Jack and the first two seasons of Primal . The series will debut with two new episodes and thereafter releases will be bi-weekly. Fortunately, if you miss episodes during the nightly programming block, they will be available on HBO Max the next day.

If you haven’t heard of the new animation that will showcase Genndy Tartakovsky’s style, here’s the official recap of Unicorn: Warriors Eternal :
Unicorn: Warriors Eternal tells the story of a team of ancient heroes who protect the world from a menacing force. Throughout history, unicorns have symbolized virtue and have appeared to ensure the reign of good. When our heroes awaken too early, they find themselves in the bodies of teenagers. Their memory of who they are and the history of the unicorn has been lost for centuries, and some of their magical abilities have been weakened and dispersed. Not only must they protect the world from overwhelming darkness, but they must do so while navigating the unexpected laughs and jokes that accompany youthful insecurity and emotion.
