Do you remember the animated series Cosmic Wars ? It was distinguished by the innovative use of 3D techniques at that time. As reported by the CBR portal, key characters from the series will soon return on the big screen. Film Transformers: Beast Wars will be a prequel to the events of the films, which appeared from 2007. The action of the new production will take place in 1994. The show is planned as a spectacular adventure cinema that will take us to such exotic places as Machu Picchu. It will be a mix of vehicle and animal mechs. Steven Caple Jr. will act behind the camera of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts .
The film will feature both well-known and completely new characters. The Autobot team will be: Optimus Prime (Generation-1), Bumblebee (Camaro), Arcee (Ducati 916), Mirage (Porsche 911). The novelty of the series will be maximals, i.e. autobots in the shape of animals. They will be Optimus Primal (gorilla), Airazor (hawk), Rhinox (rhinoceros). The opponents of maximals will be terrorists, i.e. robotic zombies. They will be composed of: Nightbird (Nissan GTR), and Scourge (humanoid with a huge black claw). The people will be represented by Noah and Elena. Noah (Anthony Ramos) lives in Brooklyn with his mother and brother. He is a former military man and has a knack for electronics. Elena (Dominique Fishback) is a museum worker oppressed by the management.
The premiere of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is scheduled for June 24, 2022.
