Toy Story 4 , the latest installment in the Pixar studio series about the adventures of unusual toys, has just hit the shelves. The official production description is as follows:
Skinny has always known his place in the world. His life, befitting a real sheriff, revolved around caring for Andy, and later for Bonnie. When one day Bonnie’s hand-made new toy appears in Bonnie’s room – The Trick, no one even suspects that this is the beginning of a surprising journey. Toy Story 4 was directed by Josh Cooley, nominated for an Oscar for In My Mind. The script was written by Andrew Stanton ( Finding Nemo ) and Stephany Folson. In the Polish language version we will hear Robert Czebotar (Chudy), Łukasz Nowicki (Buzz Astral), Edyta Olszówka (Pastereczka Bou), Sebastian Ferdek (Sztuciek), Abelard Giza (Kwaku), Kalina Sołtysiak (Bonnie), Julia Kamińska (Gabi Gabi), Wojciech Tremiszewski (Bunio), Jacek Kopczyński (Druh Wybuch), Przemysław Glapiński (Bonnie’s dad), Elżbieta Futera-Jędrzejewska (Bonnie’s mum), Izabella Bukowska-Chądzyńska (Jessie) and Dominika Kluźniak (Hahanna Rozpuk).
Toy Story 4 is in the style known from the previous installments of the series, made with the use of the latest technologies. – With each movie, the technology got more and more advanced and we were able to present things in a more believable way. There are shots in this movie that are amazingly realistic. Sometimes we had to tone them down a bit because they were too real , says Josh Cooley.
It is worth adding that the Blu-ray discs include additional special materials: The New Face of Ben , Toy Stories and the authors’ commentary on the film. The DVD version has also been enriched with audio commentary.
