Mr Jack
Probably everyone has heard about Sherlock Holmes, and certainly not one of them watched his deductive abilities with envy and admiration. But what if we get the chance to play the role of a detective ourselves? This is guaranteed by a great game for two – “Mr. Jack”.
The contents of the box may seem modest at first glance, but it is precisely this simplicity that makes it strong. We get a board, a few small components, and – most importantly – eight characters that we can move freely and use their special skills to introduce both in the game and in our opponent’s head. The manual is also not long or complicated, so it takes a little time and before we look back, we already sit down to the first game.
During the game, one of the players takes on the role of a detective who has to track down the criminal, and the other plays the role of Jack the Ripper, whose goal is to escape the city safely. Sounds easy? And it is not like that! Although the rules are very simple and it takes a moment to set up the game, you really need to focus and strain your mind to play each move as well as possible. Moreover, we are not able to plan two rounds in a row, so we have to be smart and think fast to cleverly outplay our opponent, which makes this game even more interesting.
