Marion Rathmann, VP Entertainment Channels, Germany, Poland, Romania & UK, WarnerMedia, said:
The TNT rebranding on Warner TV gives us the opportunity to reach a wider audience. We use the unique tradition of Warner Bros, offering Polish fans a programming schedule with the productions they love. Authentically and creatively told stories are the foundation of the brand and guarantee the depth of movies and series that will be broadcast by the channel. They will allow Polish viewers to choose from the rich offer of Warner TV.
As part of the rebranding, on October 22, the movie Battles will also start , where every week viewers can vote for 1 of 2 films proposed by the station, which will be broadcast on air. The action takes place on the competition website filmweb.pl/WarnerTV and gives Polish viewers a chance to participate in the creation of the channel schedule. The winning film will air every Friday evening.
The station, together with SW Research, conducted a study to check the habits of Polish recipients. When asked why they would like to watch a given title again, 40% indicated the emotions the film evoked during the first screening. Thanks to rebranding and the opportunities associated with it, Warner TV will provide viewers with the opportunity to return to their favorite films and the emotions accompanying the first screening of a given production.
The Warner TV brand is already present in France, and from September also in the GAS region. The rebranding that takes place in Poland is also taking place in Romania.
