A new production from Warner Bros. tells the story of Tom the cat, who is constantly trying to get rid of Jerry’s mice in his life. The new heroine is Kayla, an employee of an elegant hotel, where Jerry has set up his own apartment. The big screen production is the new story of Tom and Jerry. The film is a hybrid of animation (CGI) and acting. The production director is Tim Story. The screenplay was written by Craig Wright, Katie Silberman, April Prosser and Kevin Costello.
Jerry chooses as his apartment the best hotel in New York on the eve of his “wedding of the century”. The presence of the rodent threatens to ruin the celebration. Thus, she forces a desperate wedding planner to hire Tom to get rid of the unwanted tenant. The real battle that occurs between the cat and the mouse, however, could ruin her career, the ceremony, and perhaps even the hotel itself. Soon, however, an even bigger problem arises: a diabolically ambitious worker is plotting against all three. The film marks a new stage in the lives of the famous characters, forcing them to cooperate.
