Tiny Toons characters are back on the air! Warner Bros. Discovery has confirmed that Tiny Toons Looniversity will arrive on Cartoon Network and on MAX on September 9.
Warner Bros. Discovery has brought several major animated series back to life in recent years. Productions like Animaniacs and Clone High have returned to television screens after decades of sleep. Now, the same will happen with characters like Bunnies Kinio and Kinia, as the heroes of Toon Adventures will return next month as part of the Tiny Toons Looniversity series . It was known that the first ten episodes of the series will appear on the MAX platform this fall. Now, a specific release date has been revealed on both that platform and Cartoon Network .
Going back in time
Adventures of Cartoons debuted for the first time in 1990 and was broadcast for almost a hundred episodes. The adventures of the animated characters ended in 1992. For those who may have missed the original series, it’s worth mentioning that it introduced a new generation of familiar characters. These were younger versions of characters like Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Yosemite Sam, Tasmanian Devil, and others from the original Looney Tunes lineup . Tony Adventures had a few differences from the previous generation. Looniversity now aims to focus on their “student years”.
When is the premiere?
A new trailer has been published along with the release date, which is set for September 9. While the series will focus on the generation that gave birth to Kini and Kinia, characters from the original Looney Tunes will also be brought to life. Check below!
The current voice cast for this series includes Eric Bauza as Kinia, Daffy and Gossamer, Ashleigh Hairston as Kinia, David Errigo Jr. as Piglet and Tasior the Duck, and Tessa Netting as Birdie.
