Time’s Up!: Harry Potter – rules
The fun is to guess as many words as possible related to the world of the most famous wizard in pop culture. In the first round we describe the key word freely, in the second round we have only one word that should help a member of our team to guess the puzzle. In the third round, we try to present the content of the card using pantomime. Each time we are mobilized by time, which is measured by the sand flowing in the hourglass.
The box contains 220 cards with two passwords on each of them, a bag, a sheet for recording the results of the competing teams, an hourglass and instructions. It is worth noting that the level of difficulty of expressions related to the wizarding world is indicated on the forms with stars. One asterisk means a relatively easy password, i.e. one that should be readable even by a person unfamiliar with the popular franchise. The number of stars on the cards increases with the difficulty level.
For potteromaniacs and more
The game will work both at a small house party and a larger party (the number of players is from four to twelve). The combination of the land of magic and wizardry beloved by the masses with the mechanics of the Time’s Up series games created in 1999 by Peter Sarrett simply could not fail to work. Interestingly, this much-loved series was inspired by another highly regarded title, Celebrity ( Hat game ), in which participants had to guess the names / surnames of as many famous people as possible in a limited time. The rule that we like what we already know is confirmed once again.
