Wednesday is an emerging series about the daughter of Gomez and Morticia Addams. Composer Danny Elfman has joined the show’s creator Tim Burton.
Tim Burton and Danny Elfman have co-created productions such as The Nightmare Before Christmas , Edward Scissorhands and Batman (1989). We just found out that they will team up again on Netflix’s Wednesday series . Danny Elfman will compose the theme and soundtrack for all eight episodes of the series. He will collaborate with Chris Bacon, a Grammy-nominated composer.
Tim Burton is both the director and executive producer of the series. Alfred Gough and Miles Millar will be Wednesday’s showrunners . Nineteen-year-old Jenna Ortega will play the title role. The actress has already participated in chilling productions. Viewers may associate her with films such as Insidious: Chapter 2 , The Scream or The Guardian: Demon Queen .
The series will follow young Wednesday, who is studying at the Nevermore Academy. However, the screens will also feature other members of the amazing Addams family. Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzman will play Morticia and Gomez.
