Respawn Entertainment is working on three new games based on the “Star Wars” license. One of them is a continuation of the popular title from a few years ago.
Announcement about new projects came from Electronic Arts and Lucasfilm Games. The first game is the highly anticipated sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order . Speculation about this title has been circulating on the web for some time. The director of the sequel will be Stig Asmussen, who served the same role in the first edition. Most of the Fallen Order team will also return with him .
The titles of the other two games have not been revealed, but we know what genres they will represent. The first is an FPP shooter. Respawn is no stranger to productions of this type. The studio’s portfolio includes such hits as Titanfall and Apex Legends .
The second game will be a strategy that will be developed in cooperation with Bit Reactor. In this case, Respawn will rather focus on the responsibilities of the publisher. There are no details about this title yet, but the project manager can indicate the style of the game. The director is Greg Foertsch, who in the past worked, among others over XCOM: Enemy Unknown and XCOM 2 .
None of the listed games has a release date yet.
