Beau DeMayo will move from the land of The Witcher to the world of X-Men . He will be the lead writer and executive producer for Marvel Studios and we are already waiting for the results.
He will create an animated version of X-Men ’97 based on the beloved X-Men: The Animated Series . The premiere is scheduled for 2023 and will of course be on Disney +. The sequel to the series was announced during Disney + Day, next to the new animated series from Marvel, i.e. Spider-Man: Freshman Year and Marvel Zombies .
In addition to creating the TV series The Witcher , DeMayo wrote three seasons of The Vampire Diaries and Originals based on the books by Andrzej Sapkowski . The X-Man ’97 team looks like this: Jake Castorena (CEO) and Charley Feldman (Lead Producer). The main producers of X-Men: The Animated Series , Eric and Julia Lewald, will be consultants with director Larry Houston.
The original cast will return to a revamp: Cal Dodd (Wolverine), Lenore Zann (Rogue), George Buza (Beast), Alison Sealy-Smith (Storm), Chris Potter (Gambit), Catherine Disher (Jean Gray), Adrian Hough (Nightcrawler ), Christopher Britton (Mister Sinister), Alyson Court (Jubilee). And the new faces are: Jennifer Hale, Anniwaa Buachie, Ray Chase, Matthew Waterson, JP Karliak, Holly Chou, Jeff Bennett and AJ LoCascio.
