The Witcher team is not idle. Scenes for the episodes of season two are still being taped, which of course also means that more fan photos are being taken. The actors laugh, have a great time and can envy them working in such conditions.
This first shot seems particularly interesting. We can easily see Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) and Sabrina (Therica Wilson-Read) and the third, as yet unidentified sorceress. More importantly, Cahir (Eamon Farren) follows them. An uncropped beard, a scruffy appearance and, it seems, no shirt underneath his jacket could mean we’ll see him as a prisoner after the Battle of Sodden Hill in the first episodes. It also shows that the photos shot there will be seen in the series earlier than those noticed a few days ago, presenting the new armor of Nilfgaardian soldiers , where Cahir is already in better shape and ready to fight.
We can also spot Stregobor (Lars Mikkelsen), Tissaia (MyAnna Buring), Vilgefortz (Mahesh Jadu) and the showrunner of the series, Lauren Hissrich.
There was also information on social media that Zina Wheater (model and actress) came to the set. The woman is to play the role of the High Consul. While we don’t know the details of this role, it looks like it will be related to Arethusa in some way.
Meanwhile, it seems that Geralt is going in a completely different direction. Henry Cavill left the set in Yorkshire and is currently headed to the studio to continue recording there. On his Instagram profile, he thanked the beautiful North for their hospitality and expressed hope for a quick return to its hills, valleys and landscapes.
This means that the White Wolf will most likely not be part of the events currently filmed at Fountains Abbey – which are increasingly looking to be a great gathering of northern mages and kings at some sort of conference.
