A new actor has joined the cast of “The Witcher: Blood Origin”. He will play Fjall, born into a clan of warriors who have sworn to protect the King.
Netflix has announced that Laurence O’Fuarain will play the role of Fjall on The Witcher: Blood Origin .
Character Description: Born into a clan of warriors who are sworn to protect the King, Fjall carries a ripple within him. He lost a loved one who died in battle trying to save him. This event does not allow him to stop or reconcile with himself and the world around him. In his quest for redemption, Fjall will fight alongside the most unexpected of allies and embark on a path of revenge through a continent in chaos.
Laurence O’Fuarain is from Dublin. He was educated at The Factory (now Bow Street) and graduated in 2015. He has starred in series such as Vikings , Game of Thrones , Land of Lawlessness , Rebellion , Red Rock and Can’t Cope, Won’t Cope .
Description of the series: The production presents a long-forgotten story set in the world of elves, which took place 1,200 years before the action presented in the series The Witcher. He will tell about the origins and fate of the first Witcher and about the events that led to the “Conjunction of the Spheres”, when the worlds of monsters, humans and elves came together.
The Witcher: Blood Origin will be a limited six-episode prequel to the events of The Witcher , Netflix’s blockbuster series.
Cast so far announced: Jodie Turner-Smith will play the role of Éile – an elite warrior endowed with a voice of a goddess who has abandoned her clan and position as Queen’s Guardian to follow her heart and lead a life as a traveling singer. However, when the day of final reckoning arrives on the Continent, he takes up his sword again in search of revenge and redemption.
