The Witcher: Blood Origin by Netflix is a prequel to The Witcher.The action takes place 1,200 years before the story of Geralt of Rivia. The mini-series tells about the first witcher and how the worlds of monsters, humans and elves came together.
Declan de Barra is the show’s showrunner, while The Witcher showrunner (Lauren Schmidt Hissrich) is the executive producer. The author of the book series, Andrzej Sapkowski, took the role of a creative consultant.
