Although Triss has not been the main character so far, she is now returning to work on the series and who knows what an important role she will play in the adventures of the White Wolf this time.
A few days ago, The Witcher started production again at the Arborfield studio in Great Britain. In addition to the scenes in the town that was built there, the plot of the castle in Kaer Morhen also takes place on the closed set and this is where Triss will appear, which explains her absence on the set in Fountains Abbey, where sequences with the participation of mages are created . It is known from the books that Triss spent the winter in the mountains – in The Blood of Elves, Geralt invites the sorceress to help him take care of Ciri and better understand her powers.
In addition, in the photo that Schaffer posted on Instagram, fans saw a hairstyle similar to that of Merigold’s makeup. Apart from her, Geralt (Henry Cavill), Ciri (Freya Allan), Vesemir (Kim Bodnia), Coën (Yasen Atour) and Eskel (Basil Eidenbenz) will also appear in the sequences with Kaer Morhen. We will also see Paul Bullion (as the witcher Lambert) with them, who also returned to the set.
Triss’s plotline will certainly complicate the situation between Geralt and Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) even more. The reunion of the two in the second season may be even more tumultuous than we expected.
