Although CD Projekt RED may already be working on The Witcher 4 , it seems that the studio also has plans for The Witcher 5 and other productions that go beyond the Witcher saga. Even though CD Projekt has already broken down the whole Geralt story into three games, it looks like the White Wolf will also play a role in the title tentatively called The Witcher 4 . The studio also confirmed further productions planned for the future.
CD Projekt CEO Adam Kiciński revealed that the company is planning several new monster killer games to be released in the future. While The Witcher 4 is currently the studio’s main focus, Kiciński emphasized that CD Projekt Red is looking a bit further ahead and planning what titles could join the universe in the future.
We have more than one game planned. The first saga consisted of three games, so now we are also thinking about several titles, and above all, we are in the pre-production phase of the first installment of the second The Witcher saga.

While it may be exciting to hear that CD Projekt has such high ambitions to develop the Witcher franchise , it would be wise for the company not to get lost in the pursuit of the perfect game. Given that the not-so-successful launch of Cyberpunk 2077 hit CD Projekt’s reputation as game developers hard, The Witcher 4 would need to be quite successful almost immediately after its release. And although the future of the company does not depend solely on the quality of the four, it can be a game that will effectively break the losing streak of the Polish studio.
