According to the content of the entry “Redzi”, they decided to move the rest of the work on the new version of The Witcher 3 to one of their internal teams. Consequently, developers now need to evaluate how much work remains to be done. However, the lack of a new release date may suggest that there is still a lot of work to be done.
Originally, the title was supposed to debut in the second half of 2021. Later, a decision was made to postpone the premiere to the first half of this year. Interesting about the latest delay is the fact that the works have been moved from an external studio. In this situation, one can only speculate whether it was about the pace of progress or the quality of the new version of The Witcher 3 . It is certain that, after the crash with Cyberpunk 2077 , no one wants another hastily published title.
