The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – New Trailer and Poster

We’ve already seen a few installments of The Walking Dead . Now it’s time for Daryl Dixon’s adventures in post-apocalyptic France. What awaits the Americans this time?

We saw The Walking Dead in the woods. We saw The Walking Dead in New York. But we haven’t seen The Walking Dead in France. It’s where the lonely Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) is washed ashore in The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon , an upcoming spin-off where an American wanders as an alien in a strange land. AMC has released footage of Daryl making his way to Europe, and a new trailer and poster are available on AMC+.

The longer trailer, which you can watch above, shows Daryl making his way through the French countryside and villages reclaimed by life and death.

My name is Daryl Dixon. I come from a place called the Commonwealth. It’s in America. I went out looking for something and found nothing but trouble. If I don’t come back, I want them to know I tried. Hell, I’m still trying.

Daryl says into the walkie-talkie as he roams the streets of post-apocalyptic Marseille, France.

Daryl washed ashore in France tries to put himself back together. How did he get there and why. The series follows his journey through a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find his way back home. While wandering, the connections he makes along the way complicate his ultimate plan.

It’s probably the closest you’ll ever get to a standalone [series] show. The goal is not only to see Daryl in exotic and new places, but also to discover a completely different world.

After 11 seasons and 177 episodes of The Walking Dead , Daryl Dixon’s new show

definitely not the same. Our series introduces new characters, new themes and is an exciting extension of the genre that will delight people who love this kind of narrative and want more.

said director and producer Greg Nicotero

I must say we had a great time. It’s just a different animal. Even I was a little surprised, standing on set and saying, ‘We’ve been playing Walking Dead for 12 years and here we are. But it feels fresh and new. Working with David Zabel, our showrunner, was an absolute pleasure. And she was really funny.

Nicotero told ComicBook

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will premiere this fall.
