In the new official trailer for The Boys from Amazon Prime Video, we can see what awaits us in the third season of the series – Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) will get his own superpowers. The premiere is in less than a month, on June 3.

The Boys’ official trailer for the third season was posted on Twitter :

The new cast for The Boys is Jensen Ackles, who will play Soldier Boy, a character inspired by Captain America. On his social media, he informed fans about preparations for the role, including building a more powerful and muscular figure. He shared his impressions of the character he plays in the podcast Inside of You With Michael Rosenbaum:

He is a grandpa, straight from the 1940s. He fought in World War II and is just a curmudgeon, bigoted asshole. He doesn’t get old, so he’s that young, forty-year-old superhero who’s actually in his 80’s or 90’s. There’s so much material in there, you’ll see what I mean when you watch the show. He prefers the people of his time.

Jack Quaid, TV series Hugh Campbell Jr., also confessed what he thinks about Season Three:

I think this is our best season. Obviously I’m biased, but this is a season that is even more abnormal than the ones we’ve shot so far. There are a lot of iconic moments and messed up Boyfriends actions in it. We’ve added a lot of new territory. I think you’ll see our heroes in places you’ve never seen them before. I’m so excited that people will see it. It will be great … I don’t know what else to say, I think I had the most fun recording this season, compared to others, by all the actors. Now we and the team are a large, even huge family. It’s like a second home at this point and I love it. I’m really proud of what we’ve done and can’t wait for people to watch it.

In the cast of the third season of The Boys we will see such stars: Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit , Jensen Ackles, Laurie Holden, Sean Patrick Flanery, Katia Winter, Miles Gaston Villanueva, Nick Wechsler, Justin Davis. Premiere on June 3 on Prime Video.
