2023 promises to be the year of Superman. DC has revealed a first look at DC Icon’s newest project, the animated series My Adventures with Superman , which will follow twenty-something Clark Kent. The trailer is now available!
Superman will be voiced by Jack Quad (The Boys ). In addition, the cast also included Alice Lee as Lois Lane and Ishmael Sahid as Jimmy Olsen. The trailer combines modern animation with classic Superman styling . The episodes will air on Adult Swim and HBO Max later this summer. You can watch the full trailer in the video below.
My Adventures with Superman is described as an “action-packed, comedic and romantic adventure” starring Superman and Lois Lane. Olsen will complete the show’s trinity as fans will get to see them become a formidable team of investigative reporters at the Daily Planet.
There will also be a romantic thread as Clark and Lois begin to fall in love, and as the case progresses, Lane will get closer and closer to discovering exactly who Clark is when he’s not on the Daily Planet. Hopefully we’ll get even more characters in the next trailer soon.
Sam Register (Teen Titans Go!) will executive produce the series. Jake Wyatt (Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus) and Brendan Clogher (Voltron: Legendary Defender) are co-executive producers, with Josie Campbell (She-Ra and the Princesses of Power) co-producing.
My Adventures with Superman will hit Adult Swim and HBO Max this summer, with an exact release date to be revealed at a later date.
