This time, however, the story will be shown in a smaller format, not in theaters, but in the privacy of your own home: the new Pixar production will be a series produced for the Disney + platform. And although there are still a few weeks to the premiere, now fans have the opportunity to see what the upcoming series will bring. A lot is being prepared, taking into account previous events in the world of Monsters and the sudden turn in the behavior of children’s scarecrows.
The title will follow the fate of a new character named Tylor – a newly hired monster in Monsters & Co., who just learns that his new company has changed the way it operates. But we have good news and for all worried: Monsters at Work will also be talking about well-known characters, Mike and Sully. They will continue to play an important role throughout the story, although the threads of individual characters will intertwine with each other. See for yourself by watching the trailer
In the production, we will once again hear John Goodman and Billy Crystal, who lent their voices to the main characters of the series in the English language version. Bob Peterson (Roz) and Jennifer Tilly (Celia) will also return to the cast. Apart from them, Ben Feldman will also perform as Tylor, and Mindy Kaling, Lucas Neff, Stephen Stanton and Henry Winkler.
The series Monsters at Work was one of the first original projects announced for Disney +. We were able to hear about it for the first time in 2019, even before the platform was launched. Now, almost two years later, we will finally see the premiere of the series.
Monsters at Work will debut on Disney + in less than a month, on July 2, 2021.
