Three stories
Do you know how we identify the collective volumes of Smurf adventures ? Take a look at the number of Smurf folk at the top of the cover. The latest volume – L’oeuf et les Schtroumpfs– it has three of them, which means that in sixty-odd pages you will read a few stories about little blue creatures. The first of them – the title one – is related to the Smurfs Festival. The villagers want to prepare something special for this day: they decide to make a big (and probably quite tasty) cake. However, for the plan to succeed, you need: flour, milk, wood for the stove, honey, almonds (not garlic, Smurfs!) And… an egg. Most of the ingredients are fine, but getting a chicken egg is a real challenge. As you know, chickens bear them, and they live in human settlements! Unfortunately, due to an unfamiliar coincidence, the village receives a magic egg, which, after hitting the shell, fulfills wishes. If you want to know what the Smurf XXL looks like or its colorful, not so great counterpart, be sure to read the first story in the volume. In my opinion, this is one of the funniest stories in the Smurf universe and I highly recommend it! The other two stories are related – in turn – to the cruel revenge of the sorcerer Gargamel, who uses witchcraft to achieve his goal, and the mirror (who would have thought that it might contribute to the appearance of a new inhabitant in the village …). Riddle for you: do you know how many blue inhabitants there are in the Smurf village right now? If not, this information can be found in the reviewed volume. that it may contribute to the emergence of a new inhabitant in the village …). Another riddle for you: do you know how many blue inhabitants there are in the Smurf village right now? If not, this information can be found in the reviewed volume. that it may contribute to the emergence of a new inhabitant in the village …). And last riddle for you: do you know how many blue inhabitants there are in the Smurf village right now? If not, this information can be found in the reviewed volume.
Secrets of an enchanted forest
The universe of blue gnomes is a huge number of volumes that are regularly published by Egmont. The fourth issue will especially appeal to fans of the original style of Yvan Delporte and Pierre Culliford – a Belgian artist who, incidentally, created a Smurf world. Readers will certainly appreciate the larger frames that allow you to see the details of the characters ‘appearance, moreover, the comic also features many seemingly similar windows (their analysis allows you to trace not only the characters’ behavior, but also guess their way of thinking and discover their motivations). On selected pages of Les Schtroumpfs 4. L’oeuf et les Schtroumpfshere are many more balloons (Smurf friends do not let us get bored!), But it is an element that proves the great commitment of the creators to tell the story accurately.
What do we see …
The newest comic will surely appeal to all fans of the Smurf universe. The story is extremely addictive, and the graphics – showing various emotions on the characters’ faces – can be enjoyed. Les Schtroumpfs 4. L’oeuf et les Schtroumpfs is one of those volumes that I will recommend to everyone: great stories combined with fantastic frames will give you a lot of fun!
