The first two seasons of the Saga gained great popularity, so the decision of the Netflix platform to cancel the production was met with outrage by many viewers. However, the show’s creator, Iginio Straffi , assured fans that the story of the fairies from Alfea did not end there. On his social media and in an interview with Variety , he mentioned a large budget for an action movie and a desire to create an animated series.

Straffi does not have high hopes for the film. He even called it probably the most important project of his entire career. He claims that it will be different from the Netflix series. Now he plans to develop the fantastic atmosphere of production further. It will focus on transformations and battles with witches. It is going to add a bit more dark elements. He even compares the movie to Harry Potter.
The audience I want to reach are those who, like the Netflix audience, miss the original animated series from 20 years ago, as well as families who want to go to the movies with kids 10 and up, said Straffi.
The creator of the series announces that he will go to Los Angeles this month to buy it.
