Warner Bros. Japan and WIT Studio join forces in a new anime series that will be inspired by the famous group – Suicide Squad! Suicide Squad ISEKAI has already debuted with its first trailer and poster!
During a panel at Anime Expo, Warner Bros. Japan and WIT Studio announced a new anime. Fans were certainly not disappointed with the news, because it turned out to be a new installment of Suicide Squad ! Taking cues from the Isekai subgenre (which will be the first introduction to the idea for many fans), ISEKAI’s Suicide Squad could really shake the world.
In Suicide Squad ISEKAI the famous Suicide Squad will be transported to another world. The main theme of the first trailer (which you can find in the video above) is a new take on the Joker and Harley Quinn battling fantasy monsters. Judging by the name, which refers to a large group of villains, we will probably see more than just DC Comics characters in action .

What you should know about Suicide Squad anime
Currently, the premiere is planned for 2024. The director was Eri Osada. Tappei Nagatsuki and Eiji Umehara will write the scripts, Kenichiro Suehiro will compose the music, and Shinya Tsuuoka will produce for Warner Brothers Japan.

*ISEKAI means “another world”, which is currently one of the most popular genres of Japanese anime.
