Last year, Disney told the story of the iconic 101 Dalmatian villain, Cruella De Vil, in an live-action film starring Emma Stone. After her critically acclaimed debut, the studio announced that the actress would return for a sequel, which will likely begin work on in 2023.
Cruella star Paul Walter Hauser recently spoke to Forbes about his new Apple TV + Black Bird series and was asked about the production of the upcoming Disney sequel.
I was told we would start next year , Hauser said. I don’t know when exactly, but I think Tony McNamara is writing the script right now. We need to work on the busy schedule of Craig Gillespie and Emma Stone, who are worth the wait, so whenever they want to, I’ll be there.
