Jason Reitman announced that shooting for "Ghostbusters 3" (aka "Rust City") has just finished - shooting closed in 68 days.
Director Jason Reitman, son of Ivan Reitman – creator of Ghostbusters from 1984 and Ghostbusters II from 1989, has just announced on his Instagram profile that pictures for Ghostbusters 3 closed in 68 days. In the post, we see the marked main stars of the movie: Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, Logan Kim.
The photo was taken on set at the Calgary Film Center and the title of the sequel Rust City is on the film slate .
While the film will focus on new characters, we know that it will also feature actors from previous Ghostbusters Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson, as well as Sigourney Weaver.
The world premiere is scheduled for July 10, 2020.
