In April this year, Henry Cavill (Geralt), Anya Chalotra (Yennefer) and Freya Allan (Ciri) returned to the set of The Witcher . After a few months, shooting for the next installment of the Netflix adaptation is over, despite the problems caused by the coronavirus that appeared on the set at the end of July.

The directors and producers have confirmed that the shooting for the third season of The Witcher has been completed. One of them was Steve Gaub, the executive producer who shared the news on his Instagram:

According to Redanian Intelligence, one of the series’ most reliable news sites, Henry Cavill said goodbye to his associates with these words:

What a season it was! I would like to thank all of you for your determination and dedication to this difficult task. I hope you all get the rest you deserve.

So far, it is not known when the third season of The Witcher will come to Netflix. The first season appeared in December 2019, and the second one in December 2021 – however, it is worth considering that by December this year the creators will not get all the rest of the work that remains to be done after shooting. Viewers speculate that the continuation of Geralt of Rivia’s adventures will hit screens in the first half of 2023.
