Adult Swim has released the trailer for the new season of Rick and Morty. This is the music video for the Smashing Pumpkins song, “Bullet with Butterfly Wings”.
The show’s final season will be about Rick’s namesake and archenemy, Rick Prime. In the video, we can see all the previous clashes of the heroes, so that we don’t forget that Rick Prime is wild, Rick is bad. We do not know the exact premiere date of the new episodes, but most likely this fall we will see what the creators have prepared for us. An official announcement on the matter is expected to be made next week.
And speaking of the creators, for anyone familiar with the subject, the next season is an absurd idea. After all, the man who voiced the title characters was removed from the project. Justin Roiland, because we are talking about him, was repeatedly accused of sexual abuse and as a result was rejected from the project. However, the evidence turned out to be insufficient and the proceedings collapsed, but he never officially returned to the project. Will we hear it in the new season? Will AI play his role? Or will the characters have a different voice actor? We’ll find out in the fall.
