A lot of disappointment awaits those who are waiting for the premiere of the screen adaptation of the series of games from Naughty Dog studio. The production will not make its debut this year.
Everything was reported by The Hollywood Reporter. In an interview with the Chief Content Officer of HBO – Casey Bloys – it was revealed that the painting still needs to be waited for. When asked about the premiere, Bloys replied that although they do not have a specific date yet, it will certainly not be set for this year.
Filming for the first season of The Last of Us began last summer. Work is currently underway in Canada. As long as the production does not encounter any obstacles, we will probably see the premiere next year.
The plot of the series will be largely based on the first game, although some changes can be expected. Recently published photos from the set suggested postponing the date of the outbreak ten years back – from 2013 to 2003. There may be more differences, but it is not certain how big they will be.
