One of Marvel’s biggest successes this year will be continued. In addition, fans will receive one more project possibly related to the production of the best MCU fighter.
Destin Daniel Cretton has renewed his contract with Marvel Studios. The director will shoot not only the sequel to Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings , but also a production for the Disney + streaming service. The latter project remains a mystery for now, but it can be assumed to be related to the film.
In addition, Cretton will also film the graphic novel American Born Chinese . This production will be produced at Hulu’s Onyx Collective. The story by Gene Luen Yang, which debuted in 2006, was warmly received by readers and critics. The album was awarded i.a. The Eisner and Michael L. Printz Awards.
The coming years look very promising for Daniel Cretton’s Destina. With only six films to his credit, the creator (as a director and screenwriter) may soon become in demand by studios other than those associated with Disney. It is definitely worth keeping an eye on this filmmaker.
The launch dates of his three new projects have not yet been disclosed.
