A month ago, we wrote about the return of Phineas and Ferb in the form of a series on the Disney+ platform, and one of the creators mentioned a possible release window. Although the franchise returned two years ago in the form of a movie (trailer below), there has been silence since then. Even more time has passed since the end of the beloved animated series for the fourth season. Currently, it is undoubtedly one of Disney’s most successful projects, and it is not surprising that fans demanded more.
Phineas and Ferb will return in the new series, which will consist of at least two seasons, for a total of 40 new episodes. All via Disney+. Co-creator Dan Povenmire addressed the issue of a possible release date via TikTok. Tentatively, the return is scheduled for 2024, as production is still at an early stage at the moment.
As Povenmire pointed out in response to TikTok, the creative team has not really started writing the script for the series yet, so you will have to wait for the details. When asked about a potential release date, Povenmire replied that he was currently focused on Chomi and Greta , but noted that both that and the return of Phineas and Ferb would be next year.
