However, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will not be released this year. The announcement was made by the game’s producer, Daedalic Entertainment, also announcing that the French company Nacon will be the co-publisher.
At the moment, the premiere of Gollum has been postponed to 2022. So players will have to wait a little longer before playing one of the most recognizable characters created by Tolkien. Unfortunately, not much is known about the production itself – its creation was announced in March 2019, and so far a minute-long trailer has appeared (details: The trailer for the game “The Lord of the Rings: Gollum” has been presented) and a few photos of the character itself and several Middle-earth locations. It is also known from the announcement on Steam that it will be an action adventure game based on a story:
